There was a minor upset in Barquisimeto where 6th ranked Bucaneros (7-9) were defeated by ninth ranked Guaros (5-9) 93-82 on Wednesday. Bucaneros were tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game.
