The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Olimpia GrGAU (4-1) on the court of first ranked Minsk-2006 on Wednesday night. Visitors were rolled over by Minsk-2006 76-55. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 3-1 record before this meeting. The game without a history. Minsk-2006 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Olimpia GrGAU to just 5 points in fourth quarter. Minsk-2006 made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Olimpia GrGAU 47-28 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Viktoryia Pantsiukh (185-87) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Volha Istseliatsova (189-88) who added 11 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Minsk-2006 players scored in double figures. At the losing side Maryia Papova (183-94) responded with 12 points and international Maryia Filonchyk (187-92) scored 11 points. Olimpia GrGAU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Minsk-2006 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-1 record, which they share with Olimpia. Minsk-2006 is again looking forward to face league's second-placed Olimpia GrGAU in Grodno in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Olimpia GrGAU will have a break next round.
