Quarter-Finals Round 1: Horsens IC - SISU 91-76

The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. SISU was better in fourth quarter 24-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded SISU 34-21 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Horsens IC especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Slovenian guard Davor Sattler (185-86, agency: Global Sports Plaza) stepped up and scored 16 points and 9 assists for the winners and American forward Will Harris (198-86, college: Albany) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Horsens IC players scored in double figures. Horsens IC's coach Arnel Dedic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side international point guard Mikael Nielsen (178-90) responded with 23 points and American forward Donald Rutherford (198-87, college: Catawba) scored 21 points.
