An exciting game was when first ranked First ranked Pure Youth faced 4th placed Yulon Luxgen. Pure Youth (16-4) smashed Yulon Luxgen (11-9) 110-84. Pure Youth trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 66-38 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Pure Youth looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Yulon Luxgen's players. American power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners and the former international swingman Hsin-An Chen (196-80) chipped in 20 points and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Chih-Chung Chen (185-77) scored 9 points and 7 assists. Five Pure Youth and four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Pure Youth. They maintain first place with 16-4 record. Yulon Luxgen lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the third position with nine games lost. They share it with Dacin Tigers. Pure Youth will meet league's second-placed Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yulon Luxgen will play against Dacin Tigers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
