Regular Season Round 27: Girona - Lobe Huesca 73-65

Very expected game when 16th ranked Lobe Huesca (9-18) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Girona FC (14-13) 73-65 on Sunday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lobe Huesca won third quarter 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for point guard Ignacio Ordin (183-78) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points. point guard Jordi Vallmajo (190-82) helped adding 16 points. The best for the losing side was Lithuanian guard Gintaras Leonavicius (194-83, agency: Players Group) with 15 points and center Jan Orfila (207-86) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Girona FC moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Knet Clavijo and Breogan. Lobe Huesca lost third consecutive game. Loser Lobe Huesca keeps the sixteenth position with 18 games lost. Girona FC will face CB Tarragona 2017 (#15) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lobe Huesca will play against Caceres 2016.
