An interesting game for Northland (2-4) which played road game in Solna against 4th ranked Solna Vikings (0-6). Third ranked Northland managed to get a 4-point victory 72-68. The guests were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Northland made 25-of-26 charity shots (96.2 percent) during the game. Northland outrebounded Solna Vikings 44-27 including 31 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Anna Barthold (183-80, college: St.Peter's, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and international guard Frida Aili (179-88) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Belgian guard Marjorie Carpreaux (165-87, agency: LBM Management) with 18 points and 4 assists and the former international center Katarina Andersson (191-83) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Solna Vikings players scored in double figures. Northland moved-up to second place in Group 1. Solna Vikings at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost.
