No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Gigantes (13-7) beat 9th ranked Guaros (5-13) in Puerto Ordaz 74-60. It looked good early as Guaros took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gigantes had a 19-16 second period charge getting the lead and Guaros were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 60-74. Gigantes held Guaros to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Gigantes forced 19 Guaros turnovers. The best player for the winners was international center Jose Juan Bravo (202-86) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds.
