Very important is a road loss of third ranked Boras Basket (21-15) against fifth ranked Uppsala Basket (21-15) on Tuesday night. Visiting Boras Basket was defeated by Uppsala Basket in Uppsala 95-81. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Boras Basket. The game was mostly controlled by Uppsala Basket. Boras Basket managed to win third quarter 22-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Uppsala Basket made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian point guard Rhys Carter (190-84) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 6 assists and American power forward Delvon Johnson (206-89, college: Arkansas, agency: Priority Sports) who added 26 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) during the contest. Four Uppsala Basket players scored in double figures. Uppsala Basket's coach Bo Ericksson used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American-Israeli guard Jason Thomas (191-82, college: American, agency: Gross Zeev ISA) with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Uppsala Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Boras and Sundsvall. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
