Regular Season Round 36: Eco Orebro - Solna 120-102
Date: March 13, 2012
Bottom-ranked Eco Orebro managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time they won against seventh-ranked Solna Vikings 120-102. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 18-point difference proves that Eco Orebro was well-prepared to that game. The game without a history. Eco Orebro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 69.1 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for Eco Orebro especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Solna Vikings' players. The winners were led by Norwegian-American guard Terrence Oglesby (188-88, college: Clemson) who scored that evening 34 points (!!!) and forward Pierre Hampton (198-91) supported him with 22 points and 5 assists. Four Eco Orebro players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 8 assists by point guard Willy Beck (185-87, college: Santa Barbara CC) did not help to save the game for Solna Vikings. The former international forward Lesli Myrthil (200-77, college: Wagner) added 19 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Solna Vikings' coach tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Eco Orebro maintains tenth position with 4-32 record. Solna Vikings lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 19 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
