CIBACOPA top team - Garra Canera de Navolato (4-0) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat eighth ranked Frayles de Guasave (1-3) 70-58. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-58. Garra Canera de Navolato outrebounded Frayles de Guasave 40-24 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Ronald Selleaze (197-76, college: CSU Bakersfield, agency: Dream Team Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Froylan Verdugo (196-79) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Garra Canera de Navolato players scored in double figures. The former international swingman Alonso Izaguirre (200-76) replied with 20 points and naturalized Panamanian forward Gabriel Giron (192-88) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Frayles de Guasave. Frayles de Guasave's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Garra Canera de Navolato have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Tijuana. Frayles de Guasave at the other side dropped to the seventh place with three games lost.
