Eighth-ranked Panteras (6-16) gave a tough game to sixth ranked Bucaneros (10-10) in La Guaira on Thursday. Bucaneros managed to secure only five-point victory 80-75. However their fans expected easier game. Panteras were tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 5-10s.
