Quarter-Finals Round 3: Horsens IC - SISU 96-84

The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. SISU managed to win fourth quarter 27-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded SISU 41-25 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Hans Schur (203-83, college: Lynn) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). American power forward Mike St.John (203-84, college: La Salle) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. St.John is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Mickey Dennis (190-78, college: JMU) who recorded 18 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import forward Donald Rutherford (198-87, college: Catawba) added 21 points respectively. Five Horsens IC and four SISU players scored in double figures. SISU's coach Almir Zeco rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
