Quarter-Finals Round 3: Bakken - Aalborg 95-78

The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Aalborg was better in second period 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Aalborg 41-27 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bakken players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a quality performance for American guard Joshua Alexander (193-87, college: SF Austin) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. The former international power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Bakken's coach Philip Dejworek used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Tony Bishop (201-89, college: Texas St.) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import point guard Ryan White (177-88, college: Texas St.) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Aalborg in the defeat. Four Bakken and five Aalborg players scored in double figures.
