No shocking result in a game when second ranked Ferentino (19-11) beat at home 4th placed Casalpusterlengo (17-14) 76-71 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-71. Quite impressive performance for guard Francesco Guarino (182-79) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Power forward Luca Pongetti (200-90, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Ferentino players scored in double figures. Power forward Alberto Chiumenti (204-87, agency: Players Group) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Cameroonian center Paul Biligha (200-90, agency: Players Group) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Casalpusterlengo. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Ferentino have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain second place with 19-11 record having just three points less than leader Omegna. Casalpusterlengo lost third consecutive game. They still keep top position with 14 games lost. Ferentino will face league's leader Trieste on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Casalpusterlengo will play against Anagni and be promoted back to the Lega2 just one year after relegation.
