Not a big story in a game in Puerto Ordaz where 10th ranked Toros (3-19) were edged by third ranked Gigantes (15-7) 85-82 on Friday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Toros won fourth quarter 26-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gigantes have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain third place with 15-7 record having seven points less than leader Marinos. Toros lost seventh consecutive game. They stay dead last with 19 lost games. Gigantes will have a break next round. Toros will play at home against Bucaneros (#6) in La Guaira.
