Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Unia Tarnow (10-12) was defeated at home by third ranked Tur Bielsk Pdl. (15-7) 85-79 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-14. But Unia Tarnow won second period 25-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tur Bielsk Pdl. forced 32 Unia Tarnow turnovers and had a 27-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tur Bielsk Pdl. made 9 blocks. The best player for the winners was forward Arkadiusz Zabielski (195-84) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Mariusz Rapucha (189-90) chipped in 20 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Dawid Szewczyk (190-85) who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds and guard Tomasz Zych (188-87) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively.
