Regular Season Round 10: Taiwan Mobile - Yulon Luxgen 69-75

Rather predictable result when second ranked Yulon Luxgen (13-10) won against 5th ranked Taiwan Mobile (10-12) 75-69 on Saturday. Yulon Luxgen trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-69. Quite impressive performance for American forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 20 rebounds. The former international point guard Chih-Chung Chen (185-77) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. International point guard Yi-Chieh Su (181-87) replied with 21 points and 4 assists and Canadian power forward Ryan Wright (206-87, college: Oklahoma) added 15 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Taiwan Mobile. Taiwan Mobile's coach Chia Fan let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory Yulon Luxgen went down to third position due to points difference. Loser Taiwan Mobile keeps the fifth place with 12 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will face Taiwan Beer (#4) in the next round. Taiwan Mobile will play against KKL and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
