Very important is a road loss of third ranked Lotos Gdynia (20-6) against fourteenth ranked Inea AZS (3-23) on Saturday night. Visiting Lotos Gdynia was defeated by Inea AZS in a tough game in Poznan 59-63. Lotos Gdynia was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. American power forward Amber Petillon (193-82, college: Richmond) notched 9 points and 18 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Aneta Kotnis (186-89) supported her with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds by Gabonese-French forward Geraldine Robert (184-80) did not help to save the game for Lotos Gdynia. Power forward Kinga Bandyk (186-92) added 8 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Inea AZS maintains fourteenth position with 3-23 record. Lotos Gdynia at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
