No shocking result in a game in Katowice where third ranked AZS AWF K-ce (17-7) smashed 5th ranked Pogon Prudnik (15-9) 89-59 on Saturday. The game without a history. AZS AWF K-ce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AZS AWF K-ce outrebounded Pogon Prudnik 37-24 including 17 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when AZS AWF K-ce made 11 blocks. The best player for the winners was forward Kamil Nowak (196-88) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Mateusz Dziemba (194-92) chipped in 22 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Four AZS AWF K-ce players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Maciej Lepczynski (193-82) who recorded 18 points and guard Szymon Kucia (190-83) added 8 points and 4 steals respectively.
