The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 94-85. Hannover Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to SG Schwelmer Baskets' 32 and made 24-of-30 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American guard Richard Williams (178-87, college: San Diego St.) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Canadian forward Jacob Doerksen (200-87, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Naturalized American forward Kristofer Speier (206-81, college: Lewis-Clark St.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Jason Smith (183-83, college: Al.-Huntsville) added 27 points respectively for lost side. Five Hannover Tigers and four SG Schwelmer Baskets players scored in double figures.
