Very expected game when bottom-ranked PGE Turow (0-4) was smashed by second ranked Asseco Prokom (3-1) in Zgorzelec 93-63 on Sunday. The game without a history. Asseco Prokom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding PGE Turow to just 7 points in first quarter. It was a very good performance for Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas (213-90, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds. International center Adam Hrycaniuk (206-84, college: Cincinnati, agency: Alti Sport) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Asseco Prokom players scored in double figures. American guard Ronald Moore (183-88, college: Siena) replied with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized German forward Konrad Wysocki (201-82, college: Princeton, agency: Pro One Sports) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for PGE Turow. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion keeps a position of Group A leader, which they share with Trefl Sopot. PGE Turow at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost. Asseco Prokom will face league's second-placed Trefl Sopot at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. PGE Turow will play against Anwil (#4) in Wloclawek and hopes to get finally their first victory.
