Regular Season Round 10: Yulon Luxgen - Dacin Tigers 80-86

An interesting game for Dacin Tigers (13-9) which played against their biggest opponent Yulon Luxgen (13-10). Third ranked Dacin Tigers managed to get a 6-point victory 86-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Yulon Luxgen. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Dacin Tigers started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-16. But Yulon Luxgen won second period 24-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Dacin Tigers won last quarter 23-18. Belizean-American power forward Noel Felix (205-81, college: Fresno St.) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Chih-Chun Wang (180-82) chipped in 20 points. American forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St.) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and guard Wei-Han Lin (178-90) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Four Dacin Tigers and five Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. Yulon Luxgen's coach Xue-Lei Zhang tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Dacin Tigers moved-up to second place. Yulon Luxgen at the other side dropped to the third position with ten games lost. Dacin Tigers' next round opponent will be Taiwan Beer (#4). Yulon Luxgen will play against Taiwan Beer and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
