Date: March 18, 2012
No shocking result in a game when third ranked SKK Siedlce (17-8) crushed at home 8th ranked AZS Kutno (13-12) 78-54 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by SKK Siedlce. AZS Kutno managed to win fourth quarter 19-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when SKK Siedlce made 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Kamil Sulima (192-80) who led the winners and scored 20 points. Power forward Pawel Kowalczuk (207-80, college: St.Francis, NY) accounted for 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Newly promoted AZS Kutno keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Polonia. SKK Siedlce will meet Polonia (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
