Regular Season Round 21: Srbija - Hoganas 84-66

The game between third ranked Hoganas (15-6) and fifth ranked Srbija (12-9) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. Hoganas were defeated by Srbija in Malmo 66-84. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hoganas. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 84-66. Srbija forced 21 Hoganas turnovers. It was a good game for guard Ted Cedermarker (182-79) who led his team to a victory with 28 points. FYR Macedonian forward Todorce Petkovski (200-80) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Lithuanian forward Nerijus Strazdauskas (198-84) answered with 7 points and 10 rebounds and Lithuanian power forward Linas Savickas (197-79) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Hoganas. Srbija maintains fifth place in South with 12-9 record. Hoganas at the other side keep the third position with six games lost. Srbija are looking forward to face Solna Branten (#6) on the road in the next round. Hoganas will play against Hogsbo in Goteborg and are hoping to win this game.
