Everything could happen in Rishon Le-Zion at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Maccabi Rishon and 6th ranked Hapoel J-M had identical 10-8 record. This time Maccabi Rishon used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Jerusalem 69-64. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Derwin Kitchen (193-86, college: Florida St., agency: VVG Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Joe Crawford (196-86, college: Kentucky, agency: Priority Sports) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Brian Randle (203-85) came up with 13 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ramel Bradley (188-85) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Hapoel J-M in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel J-M's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Maccabi Rishon (11-8) moved-up to fourth place. Hapoel J-M at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Maccabi Rishon will play against bottom-ranked Maccabi Haifa (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hapoel J-M will play against B.C. Habikaa (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
