Regular Season Round 27: Eurosped - ProBuild Lions 54-62

Date: March 18, 2012
The game in Tubbergen was also worth to mention about. Second ranked ProBuild Lions (16-7) played at the court of 6th ranked Eurosped (5-18). ProBuild Lions managed to secure a 8-point victory 62-54. ProBuild Lions forced 21 Eurosped turnovers. Strangely Eurosped outrebounded ProBuild Lions 43-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American guard Molly McDowell (178-81, college: S.Illinois) who led her team to a victory scoring 14 points and 4 assists. The former international guard Kim Hartman (175-86) helped adding 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Marianne Van der Hoek (180-90) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Milou Dekker (176-91) scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Eurosped's coach Bart Sengers rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. ProBuild Lions maintains second place with 16-7 record having just two points less than leader Binnenland. Eurosped at the other side keeps the sixth position with 18 games lost. ProBuild Lions will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Eurosped will play on the road against the league's leader Binnenland (#1) in Rotterdam and hopes to get back on the winning track.
