Regular Season Round 21: Galil Gilboa - Netanya 78-81

The most exciting game of round 21 in the Premier League took place in Galil. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of second-best Galil Gilboa (12-6) to ninth ranked Elitzur Netanya (7-12) 81-78 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Galil Gilboa. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 3 points. The best for the losing side was Romeo Travis (200-84, college: Akron) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Joseph Jones (204-86, college: Texas A&M) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Four Galil Gilboa players scored in double figures. Elitzur Netanya maintains ninth place with 7-12 record. Galil Gilboa at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Elitzur Netanya are looking forward to face higher ranked Ironi Ashkelon (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Galil Gilboa will play against Maccabi Ashdod and is hoping to win this game.
