There was a minor upset when 12th ranked FIATC Joventut (11-14) lost to fourteenth ranked Gran Canaria 2014 (10-15) in Badalona 73-81. FIATC Joventut was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 54-42 second half run of Gran Canaria 2014. American-Azerbaijani forward Spencer Nelson (203-80, college: Utah St.) fired 16 points for the winners. Guard Tomas Bellas (185-87) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists.
