Regular Season Round 21: Hapoel Holon - Maccabi Haifa 83-53

Fourth ranked Hapoel Holon (12-8) crushed at home 11th ranked Maccabi Haifa (3-16) by 30 points 83-53, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Hapoel Holon. Maccabi Haifa was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hapoel Holon players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Hapoel Holon moved-up to third place. Maccabi Haifa lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Hapoel Holon will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Maccabi Haifa will play at home against Maccabi Rishon (#4) in Rishon Le-Zion and hopes to get back on the winning track.
