Quarter-Finals Round 5: Naestved - Horsholm 77-56

The game was mostly controlled by Naestved. Horsholm managed to win second period 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Naestved dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Horsholm's 28. They outrebounded Horsholm 37-26 including a 26-9 advantage in defensive rebounds. Naestved looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Horsholm's players. American point guard Corin Henry (180-88, college: Tarleton St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists for the winners and the former international power forward Peter Johansen (205-80) chipped in 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. Naestved's coach Geoff Kotila felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import power forward Joe Benjamin (201-83, college: W.Virginia St.) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds.
