An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hermosillo. First ranked Rayos de Hermosillo faced 3rd ranked Tijuana Zonkeys. Host Rayos de Hermosillo (8-1) smashed guests from Tijuana (6-2) 87-66. The game was mostly controlled by Rayos de Hermosillo. Tijuana Zonkeys managed to win second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rayos de Hermosillo have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record. Tijuana Zonkeys at the other side keep the third place with two games lost. Rayos de Hermosillo are looking forward to face Caballeros de Culiacan (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
