No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Fuerza Guinda Nogales (5-4) defeated at home 8th ranked Frayles de Guasave (3-6) 92-88. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-22. But Frayles de Guasave won second period 19-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fuerza Guinda Nogales forced 19 Frayles de Guasave turnovers. Guard Brandon Heredia (180-85, college: Lon Morris JC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 assists. American swingman O'Louis McCullough (198-82, college: Francis Marion) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Charles Moore (201-86, college: S.Arkansas) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Sylvester Spicer (198-86, college: Rogers St.) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Frayles de Guasave. Four Fuerza Guinda Nogales and five Frayles de Guasave players scored in double figures. Fuerza Guinda Nogales have a solid three-game winning streak.
