The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked River Andorra (16-4) at the home court on Friday night. Hosts were edged by eighth ranked Lan Mobel ISB (11-9) 70-67. River Andorra was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 23-19 charge of Lan Mobel ISB, which allowed them to win the game. American-French guard Alfredo Ott (193-83, college: Dillard) scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Victor Serrano (211-89) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Uruguayan-Italian point guard Federico Bavosi (184-81) responded with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Pablo Sanchez (197-81) scored 11 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Lan Mobel ISB have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 11-9 record. River Andorra at the other side still keeps top place with four games lost. Lan Mobel ISB are looking forward to face Feve Oviedo (#10) at home in the next round. River Andorra will play against Las Rozas (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
