Regular Season Round 11: KKL - Dacin Tigers 68-95

Rather predictable result when second ranked Dacin Tigers (15-10) smashed 6th ranked KKL (9-14) 95-68 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Dacin Tigers. KKL was better in second period 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dacin Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to KKL's 26. Dacin Tigers forced 20 KKL turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international forward Lei Tien (203-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points. The former international guard Hao-Cheng Hsu (178-82) helped adding 12 points and 5 assists. Center Chun-Wei Lee (199-88) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and American center Elbert Fuqua (211-83, college: UTSA, agency: Top Notch Sports) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Dacin Tigers and four KKL players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dacin Tigers maintains second place with 15-10 record having four points less than leader Pure Youth. KKL lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 14 games lost. Dacin Tigers will face league's leader Pure Youth in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KKL will play again against the league's second-placed Dacin Tigers (#2).
