The most important game in the last round took place in Przemysl between second ranked SKK Siedlce (17-9) and ninth ranked Polonia (14-12) on Saturday night. SKK Siedlce was defeated by Polonia in a tough game on the road 71-77. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 19-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Artur Mikolajko (197-79) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Pawel Pydych (180-82) who added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Polonia's coach Maciej Milan used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side power forward Pawel Kowalczuk (207-80, college: St.Francis, NY) responded with 19 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Radoslaw Basinski (188-78) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. Polonia moved-up to eighth place, which they share with AZS Kutno. SKK Siedlce at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. They share it with Rosa Radom. Polonia is looking forward to face Sportino (#14) in Inowroclaw in the next round where they are favorite. SKK Siedlce will play at home against MOSiR Krosno (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
