Regular Season Round 27: St Vallier - Quimper 85-64

Date: March 24, 2012
There was no surprise when 18th ranked Quimper UJAP (7-20) was crushed on the road by thirteenth ranked Saint Vallier (12-15) 85-64 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Saint Vallier. Quimper UJAP was better in third quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saint Vallier shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kyle Shiloh (191-85, college: Nevada) who scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. David Denave (195-85) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Five Saint Vallier players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Nathaniel Roche (203-88, college: Belhaven) who recorded a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import guard Adam McCoy (195-86, college: N.Texas) added 14 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saint Vallier moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Quimper UJAP dropped to the seventeenth position with 20 games lost. Saint Vallier will face Denain Voltaire (#15) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Quimper UJAP will play against Lille Metropole.
