Rather expected game when 16th ranked Lobe Huesca (10-19) lost on the road to fourteenth ranked Baloncesto Leon (13-15) 86-82. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Baloncesto Leon shot 26 for 36 from the free-throw line, while Lobe Huesca only scored eight points from the stripe. 31 personal fouls committed by Lobe Huesca helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American-Italian power forward Cristopher Mortellaro (206-82, college: Drury) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). point guard Juan Jose Bernabe (182-76) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!).
