Regular Season Round 24: OFI - AEK/Argous 100-70

Bottom-ranked AEK/Argous (0-24) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 24th consecutive match to eighth ranked OFI (13-11) 100-70. The game without a history. OFI led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 20 AEK/Argous turnovers. OFI players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by AEK/Argous' players. The winners were led by forward Dimitris Karadolamis (204-87, agency: FCM) who scored that evening 26 points and 7 rebounds and Cypriot guard Andreas Sizopoulos (189-83) supported him with 18 points and 4 assists. OFI's coach Chris Hugaz felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by naturalized Serbian guard Alex Stevovic (191-90) did not help to save the game for AEK/Argous. Forward Gianni Vavatsikos (201-90) added 15 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. OFI moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Lavrio. AEK/Argous at the other side still closes the standings. OFI will play against Lavrio (#8) on the road in the next round. AEK/Argous will play against Periko/Arhelaos (#15) in Perikos and hopes to get finally their first victory.
