An interesting game for Tartu Ulikool (22-3) which played road game in Rapla against 4th ranked Rapla (14-12). First ranked Tartu Ulikool had an easy win 81-62. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 20-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-62. 25 personal fouls committed by Rapla helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Timo Eichfuss (200-88) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Kristo Saage (184-85) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. Swingman Janar Soo (199-91) replied with 17 points and power forward Raido Ringmets (206-83) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Rapla. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tartu Ulikool maintains first position with 22-3 record. Rapla at the other side keeps the fourth place with 12 games lost. Tartu Ulikool are looking forward to face Kalev/Cramo (#3) in Tallinn in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rapla will play on the road against Tln Kalev in Tallinn and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
