The game in Bereldange was also quite interesting. One of their biggest challengers Amicale (12-12) played at the court of fifth ranked Residence (12-12). Residence did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 91-73 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Residence. Amicale was better in second period 21-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Residence dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Amicale's 36. The best player for the winners was international swingman Pitt Koster (178-89) who scored 30 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Marcus Kennedy (193-84, college: Montevallo, agency: Interperformances) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Residence players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Cameroonian forward Yves Mekongo (201-87, college: La Salle, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Christopher Jones (188-90) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Residence moved-up to fourth place in League. Residence will face league's second-placed Sparta in Bertrange in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Amicale will play at home against the league's leader T71 in Dudelange.
