Regular Season Round 11: Pure Youth - Bank of Taiwan 78-68

SBL top team - Pure Youth (19-6) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventh ranked Bank of Taiwan (4-20) 78-68. The game was mostly controlled by Pure Youth. Bank of Taiwan was better in fourth quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pure Youth forced 19 Bank of Taiwan turnovers. International forward Douglas Creighton (195-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds. International forward Chia-Hung Chien (197-87) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Forward Hsiao-Wen Chuan (190-83) answered with 12 points and 4 assists and power forward Cheng-Jung Yang (200-86) added 10 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Pure Youth have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 19-6 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side stay dead last with 20 lost games. Pure Youth's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Dacin Tigers and it will be for sure the game of the week. Bank of Taiwan will play against Taiwan Mobile (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
