We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Milano (14-9) was smashed at home by sixth ranked Marghera (12-9) 75-55 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 44-18 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Marghera dominated on the defensive end, holding Milano to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Guard Erika Striulli (171-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Bulgarian forward Anna Rimpova (183-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Ntumba Madelene Mitongu (180-81) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and Swedish center Jenny Lidgren (191-88) added 10 points in the effort for Milano. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Marghera. They maintain sixth place in North with 12-9 record. Milano lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with nine games lost.
