Rather expected game when 5th ranked WKK Obiekty (15-10) was smashed by third ranked AZS AWF K-ce (18-7) in Wroclaw 94-42 on Sunday. The game without a history. AZS AWF K-ce led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding WKK Obiekty to just 3 points in first quarter. AZS AWF K-ce dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to WKK Obiekty's 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by WKK Obiekty's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when AZS AWF K-ce made 10 blocks. Quite impressive performance for forward Kamil Nowak (196-88) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Swingman Bartosz Stawowski (187-89) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Tomasz Jozefiak (190-93) answered with 11 points and 9 rebounds and forward Artur Suchodolski (192-94) added 7 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for WKK Obiekty. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for AZS AWF K-ce. They maintain third place in Group B with 18-7 record having three points less than leader Open Florentyna. WKK Obiekty lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with ten games lost. AZS AWF K-ce will face MCKiS Jaworz. (#12) in Jaworzno in the next round and are hoping to win another game. WKK Obiekty will play on the road against HK Zory (#10).
