Everything went according to plan when second ranked BM Wegiel Stal (19-6) defeated 9th ranked MKS Skierniew. (11-14) in Ostrow Wlkp. 88-74 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by BM Wegiel Stal. MKS Skierniew. was better in fourth quarter 18-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BM Wegiel Stal looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when BM Wegiel Stal made 10 blocks. It was a very good performance for guard Mariusz Matczak (180-86) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 7 assists.
