Very important is a road loss of third ranked Kyoto Hannar. (26-16) against sixth ranked Shimane Magic (23-21) on Sunday night. Visiting Kyoto Hannar. was defeated by Shimane Magic in a tough game in Shimane 83-87. The game without a history. Shimane Magic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for Shimane Magic especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. The game was also dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and forward Benjamin Puckett (205-83, college: Clayton St., agency: I.D.S. Law) who added 11 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Shimane Magic players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Rick Rickert (211-83, college: Minnesota, agency: SportsTalent) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds and Lee Cummard (201-85, college: BYU, agency: Priority Sports) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Kyoto Hannar.'s coach Honoo Hamaguchi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Shimane Magic maintains sixth position with 23-21 record. Kyoto Hannar. lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Fukuoka Rizing and Shiga L-Stars. Shimane Magic will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
