Eleventh-ranked Maccabi Haifa (3-17) gave a tough game to fourth ranked Maccabi Rishon (12-8). The visitors from Rishon Le-Zion managed to secure only three-point victory 105-102. However their fans expected much easier game. 32 personal fouls committed by Maccabi Haifa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Joe Crawford (196-86, college: Kentucky, agency: CAA Sports) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Derwin Kitchen (193-86, college: Florida St., agency: VVG Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Tyler Wilkerson (202-88, college: Marshall) replied with 30 points and 9 rebounds and forward Carlos Powell (199-83, college: S.Carolina) added 22 points and 6 assists in the effort for Maccabi Haifa. Five Maccabi Rishon and four Maccabi Haifa players scored in double figures. Maccabi Haifa's coach Rami Hadar rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Maccabi Rishon moved-up to third place, which they share with Hapoel Holon. Maccabi Haifa lost fourteenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost.
