Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Aget Imola and 14th ranked Biancoblu BO had identical 8-14 record. This time Aget Imola used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Bologna 74-69 on Sunday night. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 19-8. But Biancoblu BO won third quarter 24-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Aget Imola forced 24 Biancoblu BO turnovers. Biancoblu BO was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. American swingman Ronald DuPree (199-81, college: LSU, agency: Priority Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Trent Whiting (185-76, college: BYU) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Aget Imola players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Tre Kelley (183-85, college: S.Carolina) responded with 21 points (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and French power forward Guillame Yango (205-82, college: Pacific) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. Aget Imola (9-14) moved-up to twelfth place. Biancoblu BO lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Aget Imola will face higher ranked Morpho Basket (#10) in Piacenza in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Biancoblu BO will play at home against Givova Scafati having rather not much hope for a victory.
