Very important is a road loss of second ranked Taby Basket (17-5) against eighth ranked Talje Knights (10-12) on Sunday night. Visiting Taby Basket was defeated by Talje Knights in a tough game in Talje 69-76. It looked good early as Taby Basket took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Talje Knights had a 20-9 second period charge getting the lead and Taby Basket was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-76. Talje Knights forced 20 Taby Basket turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Taby Basket's players. Forward Erik Johansson (194-96) notched 26 points to lead the effort and point guard Filip Kovacek (180-95) supported him with 16 points and 9 assists. Even 22 points and 9 rebounds by center David Hult (204-89) did not help to save the game for Taby Basket. Guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) added 19 points and 5 assists for lost side. Talje Knights moved-up to seventh place in North, which they share with Orongo. Taby Basket at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
