1/8 Finals Round 4: Bayer Giants - Giessen 83-76

Giessen Pointers were trailing by 13 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 22-12 charge of Bayer Giants, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Giessen Pointers' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jack Eggleston (203-88, college: Pennsylvania, agency: Pro One Sports) who helped to win the game recording 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) and guard Farid Sadek (188-83) who added 7 points and 13 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Jarrel Smith (200, college: Concordia Irvine) responded with 25 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Derrick Stevens (180-80, college: Colorado St.) scored 14 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Five Giessen Pointers players scored in double figures. Giessen Pointers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
