Undefeated BrGU COR Victoria (4-1) recorded its first loss in Grodno. Visitors were defeated by second ranked Victoria-UOR (3-2) 87-80. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in League. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 32-21 run, which allowed them to win the game. Victoria-UOR had a 35-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Anastasiya Haryna (185-94) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Natallia Pratskaila (181-94) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Center Nadzeya Bohdan (187-93) answered with 25 points and 8 rebounds and forward Julia Avdeythuk (185-88) added 15 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for BrGU COR Victoria. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Victoria-UOR maintains second place in League with 3-2 record having just three points less than leader Olimpia. BrGU COR Victoria at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. Victoria-UOR will again play against league's leader BrGU COR Victoria in Brest in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BrGU COR Victoria will play at home against Sozh Gomel and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
